Lida Sarreshtehdari

My name is Lida Sarreshtehdari. I have acquired various experiences in the business market after earning a bachelor's degree in statistics. Working at the statistics office of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts & Tourism, teaching mathematics & statistics to high school students, and work in two market-research companies are a part of my highlight activities before pursuing my academic educations for earning a master's degree.
After marriage, my husband's entrepreneurial activities interested me in entrepreneurship. Therefore, this interest brought me the thought of learning entrepreneurship in university. Upon passing the hard competitive exam for entering the first entrepreneurship faculty in the Middle East, I succeeded to receive the approval of the committee to enter the Faculty of Entrepreneurship at the University of Tehran, Iran. This was the turning point in my life.
After finishing my master's course in entrepreneurship with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.6/4.0, I was promptly entered the relevant business market. Among different job positions, I preferred to work in a position with a joint skills of research and operation in entrepreneurship field. Currently, I am supervisor and executive expert of the GEM Adult Population Survey (APS) at the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) office, Faculty of Entrepreneurship, University of Tehran.
